Biography:
Alexander Akopov was born in 1970 in Moscow.
He studied painitng at the Moscow Art High School of Surikov - the acclaimed school for gifted young artists.
In 1997 he graduated form Russian Academy of Art and the same year became a member of International Federation of Artists.
Landscapes form the most considerable part of Akopov's work.
The artist has gone through an extensive practice of nature painting all over the World.
Akopov has painted the forests of Middle Russia, the lakes of Finland, Alpine Mountains and Mediterranean seascapes.
The mystery of his special palette is the result of Alexander's powerful intuition and rich experience in nature painting.
Among landscape artists, Akopov's paintings are quickly becoming renowned for his mature and precise brush strokes
and the pervasive warmth and light that emanates from the elegant worlds he depicts.
His virtuoso compositions depict both the passionate and contemplative natural elements with equal force.
Akopov is frequently exhibited at the Central House of Arts in Moscowthe biggest Art exhibition Hall in the city.
He also founded the organization of Moscow artists and the gallery "KITOVRAS".
